North Marin Community Services
Various opportunities are available to volunteer in our Child Development program. In addition to proof of COVID vaccination, Child Development volunteers must provide proof of immunity for measles, pertussis, and influenza, along with a negative tuberculosis test within the past year. Adults must also complete a background screening.

Shifts are available in the morning (8:30 – 10:00), and afternoon (12:30 – 3:30). The morning shift is responsible for unloading and unpacking food deliveries from the SF-Marin Food Bank, and then packaging up an assortment of fresh and packaged food for families. The afternoon shift is responsible for organizing the flow of clients and distributing bags at our farmer's market style food pantry. Come support our summer program as a field trip chaperone! We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help supervise and engage with students from 1st through 8th grade as they explore parks, museums, and more. What You’ll Do: Help ensure a safe, fun, and enriching experience for our students Assist with activities and supervise during field trips Be prepared for extended periods of walking and standing No long-term commitment required – volunteer for one trip or several, whatever fits your schedule!
