Various opportunities are available to volunteer in our Child Development program. In addition to proof of COVID vaccination, Child Development volunteers must provide proof of immunity for measles, pertussis, and influenza, along with a negative tuberculosis test within the past year. Adults must also complete a background screening.

Shifts are available in the morning (8:30 – 10:00), and afternoon (12:30 – 3:30). The morning shift is responsible for unloading and unpacking food deliveries from the SF-Marin Food Bank, and then packaging up an assortment of fresh and packaged food for families. The afternoon shift is responsible for organizing the flow of clients and distributing bags at our farmer's market style food pantry. Homework help tutors

North Marin Community Services

We're looking for caring, patient, and enthusiastic volunteers to support middle school students with their homework - primarily in math, but help in all subjects is welcome! What You'll Do: Provide one-on-one or small group homework help Build students’ confidence in math and other subjects Be a positive role model and mentor When & Where: Shifts available Monday through Thursday 3:30-4:30p during the school year. We encourage volunteers to commit to a regular weekly day if possible, but our staff is happy to work with your availability. In-person at our 680 Wilson Avenue campus Volunteer requirements: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination Proof of immunity for measles, pertussis, and influenza Negative tuberculosis (TB) test within the past year Background screening for all adult volunteers General proficiency in middle school subjects Interested?
