North Marin Community Services

Various opportunities are available to volunteer in our Child Development program. In addition to proof of COVID vaccination, Child Development volunteers must provide proof of immunity for measles, pertussis, and influenza, along with a negative tuberculosis test within the past year. Adults must also complete a background screening.

Food Pantry

Shifts are available in the morning (8:30 – 10:00), and afternoon (12:30 – 3:30). The morning shift is responsible for unloading and unpacking food deliveries from the SF-Marin Food Bank, and then packaging up an assortment of fresh and packaged food for families. The afternoon shift is responsible for organizing the flow of clients and distributing bags at our farmer's market style food pantry. Join us in making holiday magic for over 400 children (infant-17 years) at our 53rd annual Holiday Share! This program is made possible by generous community members and volunteers like you. Our Holiday Share Toy Drive has been bringing the magic of the holidays to vulnerable children and families in North Marin for over 50 years. This treasured program serves families facing financial hardship during the holiday season. Unable to volunteer?
