Welcome, NMCS Community Market Volunteers! North Marin Community Services (NMCS) has transitioned from a traditional food pantry to a Community Market, creating a more dignified and empowering shopping experience for participants. As an NMCS volunteer, you play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive environment for everyone. Volunteer Shifts Morning: Tuesday 8:30 AM-10:00 AM and Fridays 7:30AM- 9:00AM Unload and unpack food deliveries from the SF-Marin Food Bank and organize fresh and packaged food. Afternoon: Tuesdays 1:30 PM-6:30 PM and Fridays 9:30 AM- 2:30 PM Support the flow of participants, keep stations stocked and clean, assist with product selection according to SF-Marin Food Bank guidelines, and provide respectful and welcoming assistance while participants shop.
